Newar samaj Hong Kong organised Maghe Shankranti

We love HongKong HK is our Home Events and exhibition booths at Yenlong town hall on the auspicious occasion of neplese national festival Maghe Shankranti together with JEMS Music Group(HK)....Traditionally this foods  festival is celebrated eating TARUL (Yam), Chakku (Molases) and Khichadi (Special kind of rice dish cooked with black lentil)....Newar Samaj Hong Kong Chearman mr. udas distributed snacks and Sovinrs  to visitors of the Food Festival , Members of JEMS Music Group together with director Hari Shreshtha , Nagendra Shrestha,purn ,Ganesh ,Parajuli,Mahesh Silpkar and others entertained the Visitors with one hour of live music.....videos are uploaded as well!!!

Tamang societies unification in London

Five different Tamang societies are in the process of unification and come under a same banner , the latest meeting was held on 5th January this month on munches restaurant ,reading  where five different Tamang societies took part in unification meeting.The interim acting committee  is formed on the presidentship of Kabir Raj Ghising where there are other twelve members , the motive of this committee  is to draft a common name which will be accepted by all societies and makes unification process more easier, the next meeting will be called in February .

 The first unification process started during at Buddhist Community centre (BCC) Buddha Jyanti program on 6th may 2012 ,where  Tamang Ghedung (TGUK) chairmanTenzi Pakhrin purposes for unification with Kabiraj Ghising and   Bhaskar Tetung .

The first official joint meeting was held on 1st September 2013 by Tamang societies in Wembley.
Furthermore, Tamang samaj and Tamang Ghedung did a joint musical concert , where Abinish Ghising and Reshma Sunwar were singer on 8th of December 2012 as a joint venture .In between this time ,many informal talks were carried between different related person of societies according to president of tamang Ghedung president  Tenzi Pakhrin .

The process of unification already started among Tamang societies who have common culture ,custom ,traditions  and  common motive although it's not easy as it said  because different reason . Hope and wish  ,we can see all Tamang societies under same banner soon
